Blood Cell Reprogramming Service

Blood Cell Reprogramming Service

In recent years, the increasing number of reprogramming strategies and the expansion of reprogrammable cell sources have accelerated advances in the field of cell reprogramming. The cell types used for reprogramming have expanded beyond the initial fibroblast skin cells and now include other more readily available cell sources such as urine, hair, wisdom teeth, and blood cells. Among them, collecting blood from patients is a relatively simple and convenient method. Blood cells can be processed and reprogrammed in less than a week, and peripheral blood contains a variety of different cell types for researchers to choose freely according to scientific research needs. Therefore, blood has become an increasingly popular cell source for cell reprogramming.

A number of techniques have been developed to allow efficient and footprint-free generation of iPSC from a variety of cell types. Reprogramming is no longer limited to retroviral transduction integrating exogenous genes. A number of other reprogramming methods with more efficient induction success have been developed, such as non-integrating viral transduction, non-viral free plasmid transfection, and mRNA reprogramming. In addition to technological advances, routine practice of blood collection and blood banking has increased the clinical relevance of using blood as the primary tissue that can be reprogrammed. With readily available clinical samples, blood reprogramming is critical to future disease modeling and therapeutic development.

Our Services

The hematopoietic system includes various cell types in different states of differentiation such as progenitor cells and terminally differentiated cells. Over the years, researchers at Creative Bioarray have established multiple strategies to reprogram cells from blood progenitors as well as fully differentiated monocytes. We offer a wide range of blood reprogramming services to our clients.

Reprogramming Strategies for Blood Reprogramming

  • Integrating reprogramming strategies using integrating viral vectors to deliver reprogramming factors.
  • Non-integrating reprogramming strategies including vector-based, RNA-based strategies and chemical-based pluripotency induction strategy.

Applications

  • Drug screening for blood-related diseases
  • Novel platform for pathological research at molecular levels
  • Therapeutic applications of blood reprogramming

Advantages

  • Easy access to materials
  • Short test cycle
  • High reprogramming efficiency

Creative Bioarray focuses on developing a variety of advanced and efficient strategies to provide customers with a wide range of blood reprogramming services. We help customers reprogram blood cells at different differentiation stages into target cell lines through integration or non-integration strategies. If you need our technical support, please feel free to contact us.
